Seriously, today I actually preferred to hear about Anna Nicole's baby drama than the whole Imus thing.

Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are not God for black people okay. They don't speak on behalf of all of us. White people, please don't belive that everytime they talk, they're speaking for all of us. Imus insulted a predomently black female basketball team in a poor effort to be funny. He's apologized and I think he's sorry. He owes an apology to the team, they're the one he insulted.

I hate that he said he apologized to Al Sharpton, what the hell did he do to Al Sparpton. Anyway, I'm just tired of all the damn coverage. Can we get some real news please???

I found it interesting how Don Imus is criticizing the appearance of others... He's not exactly the most handsome man that I have ever seen in my life... I thought perhaps the Yahoo Community might have a few adjectives to share to describe him... The words shabby, broken down come to mind... What other words can you share?

I heard someone tell me that there is a bug called the locust. And something happens every 17 years (or somehting like that) and that this summer they will be EVERYWHERE. and we won't even be able to walk outside! Eww! Is this true? Why does this happen? What's a locust? Is this going to be happening in IL or all of USA or the whole entire globe?

The recent outrage against Don Imus stupid statements are very appropriate, but ironic. Rev. Al (Tawana Bralley) Sharpton should be the last person to get involved in this issue.
I see no street demonstrations against black on black murders.
94% of African American murder victims are killed by African Americans. Doesn't that also deserve an apology?

Don't answer if you're just going to say 'cause he's an idiot! That's a given. I want to know in what context he said this? What was he talking about? Was there some sort of scandal surrounding the women's team? I mean, no one makes that sort of comment unless there is a reason, whether or not it was racist or sexist. Did one of the girls pose nude or something? I hate to say it but they're really blowing this way out of proportion. Look at all the rappers who use the term "hos" and "nappy headed" isn't exactly the "N" word. I'm flipping thru my channels this morning and on a religious channel, some biggoted pastor is condeming homosexuals, saying HORRIBLE things, how come that's allowed? And what about freedom of speech and opinion? The guy apologized and accepted a suspension and will meet with the team and is BEGGING for forgiveness! Enough already. And don't call me racist because I have a half-sister is half black and I have black friends and have dated black men....
