Seriously, today I actually preferred to hear about Anna Nicole's baby drama than the whole Imus thing.
Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are not God for black people okay. They don't speak on behalf of all of us. White people, please don't belive that everytime they talk, they're speaking for all of us. Imus insulted a predomently black female basketball team in a poor effort to be funny. He's apologized and I think he's sorry. He owes an apology to the team, they're the one he insulted.
I hate that he said he apologized to Al Sharpton, what the hell did he do to Al Sparpton. Anyway, I'm just tired of all the damn coverage. Can we get some real news please???

Yes, I'm sick of the coverage, but I am enjoying watching Imus's public humiliation. He's a mean-spirited bully, and he deserves to be on the receiving end for a change. Don't worry, this will blow over as soon as the next "celebrity" loser screws up.

Don't watch TV. I don't, so I am immune. You probably did not see Prince Charles marry Lady Diana, did you? That was about a full week of coverage. When Di died, it was about 10 days. Uh. 9/11 was three weeks or so. The runup to the first Gulf War went on for about a month. MJ has about another 2--3 days in him unless some other big news comes up. You have July 4 coming up though, which is traditionally slow for news, so this could be THE PERFECT STORM of news hell for you.

My question is when does Howard Stern need to account for all of his needed appologies? LOL you can all rant about Imus yet Howard stern is worse! Yet since his rating with young males is so high, multi million dollar contracts and no one says a word when he says things like this ALL THE TIME!
I agree. Just like not all whites ever believed in slavery, nor have the same view, that goes without saying jews muslums Italians Irish. Each person has their own blief and do you know everyone is entitled to their own belief be if it is or isn't racist, mean, beyond what the norm thinks.
I am more ticked about the blonde bimbo and the debate about her baby. If she was a local bimbo, no one would care, but because millions are tied to the kid, it is important. SHows where some people's importance lies.
Tired of racist, BS and Bimbo's in general in the news. I had actually quite watching for years and reading the papers. Stress went down loved it. However lately back into it because of winter. Bad move. NEWS = BAD for health! LOL I just want to see something news worth and real. I don't care to see Sharron Stone's new butt lift or who went to rehab, isn't that on E tonight? Didn't think it warranted the CBS evening news or CNN.

Shhhhh...! Quiet- QUIET!! Somebody might hear you- & NEXT WEEK something even MORE stupid could be cluttering up the Media with nonsense! (Like Yahoo Answers is a breeding ground for terrorists or something! :0). Oh..-& be CAREFULL about wanting to hear some "real news" for a change... I remember, a few years back- the big "to do" about Gary Condin (Remember him??!), the Congressman from California who got caught messing around with something or other... -It was wall-to-wall news on Sept. 10th, 2001... -The next day- there was "real news", & the Condin "controversy"-was history. I wonder how angry the women on the team would have gotten if they were referred to as "bull dog dykes"? I doubt they would have gotten so bent out of shape about it! I used to be on womens teams & they ain't nothin' nice! Poor ignorant Imus. He's outnumbered by more than just ONE minority group on this one. Kissing up to Sharpton really DOES make him look like a racist & a bigot! (In my eyes). He insulted the team & he should only deal with them.

well put.al sharpton is a trouble maker and annoys me every time he opens his mouth...imus made a mistake and how many butts is he going to have to kiss before its put to rest? now that i think about it maybe he should hire michael richards as his sidekick.. neither one of them is very funny
