In this day & age, conspiracy theories are abundant, but it doesn't make them true. Most people will believe a conspiracy when it involves ANY Government, because the people who ask us to trust them & put them in power, no matter their political base, have abused our trust so many times we find we don't believe the truth even if it's starring us right in our face. It's been bread into us to not trust.
The 9/11 conspiracy has come from an Australian group who put together a video documentary that was disputed by others, who found falsehoods & holes in their logic. So the same group created another called "Loose Change", which is very compelling, but still doesn't provide enough facts to back up the claims as many possible scenario's can account for the oddities that the producers question. Now that many people have seen this documentary, many don't question the producers motives & believe everything presented in the Doc. is truthful.
It's the governments own fault that people beleive this conspiracy is true regarding 9/11, they've created a cloud of mystery & possible cover-up scenario's by either being evasive, speaking with double talk, being secretive, or denying they've lied in the face of facts that show otherwise. Therefore people tend to believe the worst, & fall into the trap of Conspiracy Theories.
I say, always ask questions & keep an open mind no matter which way you believe, because the truth usually comes out one way or another, unless those who have something to hide, continue to hide the documents that would shed the truth, under raps as "Top Secret" in the Pentagon Dungeon Files only to be opened to the public in 20 - 50yrs. time. But don't be fooled either by theories that are not 90% - 100% proved.

Anyone in their right mind cannot actually believe that an American President or any part of our government, could or would condone such as act, never-mind perpetuate the act itself. Our government is not of a terroristic mindset.
I do not doubt that if people started suggesting that a family member of yours, or a loved one, was sneaking around assaulting the elderly and stealing from them. Or some other despicable act, you would be more than offended and defensive.

It is mainly because the issue has been settled by science and those who keep circulating the conspiracy theories only do so out of hatred for President Bush. I would say that we are insulted by the insinuation that we are cattle by accepting the facts of 9/11.

Because, if you believe the conspiracy theories, that means you have to believe Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld are cold-blooded, mass murderers. I don't like any of them. I think they're all hypocritical liars who see politics only as a way to accumulate and hold power instead of seeing it as public service; but even I don't believe they are cold-blooded, mass murderers.
