Now that Imus career is over...
what is next for him? I think most likely he will join the Satellite radio guys. He already has loyal fans and listeners and if he gets only 1/4 the radio deal that Howard Stern got, then we will do just fine. Oh and he won't have to worry about what he says or sponsors pulling their plugs since its subscription based.

...so do u think he will go this route? If so...

Siruis or XM ???

Possibly. Imus doesn't need to work, however. He has tons of money.

He may just decide to retire and put in an occasional guest appearance on Letterman or Leno.

I hope he goes to satelite radio (XM!) His being fired was bulls*#%. There is so much of a double-standard in America today.
Upon Imus' termination, Jesse Jackson said "a victory for public decency. No one should use the public airwaves to transmit racial or sexual degradation."
........O.K.. So does that mean that the Rev. Jesse Jackson is now going to go after Rap/Hip-Hop stations that regularly play songs with that content?....
Dont think so.... Double standard.....

I'm not sure he'll be offered a satellite gig. Sirius already has Howard and XM is going downhill and looking to merge with Sirius. He could get another AM spot, but maybe he's done. Geez, after this, I wouldn't want to be out there either.

whilst i'm no longer listening to Howard one hundred i like: Lithium (24), Punk (29), massive 80s (8) and frequently used Wave (22). honestly different than for some channels (Elvis, Jam On) I tremendously much like each and every thing between a million and 30.

I think his first interview should be those Duke University lacrosse players, he might want to encourage them to sue a certain Al Sharpton who said a lot of bad words about them (just as he did about the police in the Tawana Brawley case). Or he could do one on people who pretend to be great Christian ministers that set out to destroy other people and refuse to forgive them when they apologize. Probably Sirius. he still has to earn a living and I doubt McDonald's will hire him.

he'll get a gig on virtually any AM radio station in the country; the free publicity from this non-issue alone should keep him in clover until he pops, which in his case will probably be in a few weeks

How old is that dude? 103?
