Do you think that Reverend Al Shaptron and Reverend Jessie Jackson have the 'moral integrity' to condemn someone like Don Imus?

I think it is blasphemous that you even say "moral integrity" and Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson in the same sentence.

These two guys are the two biggest racist bigots on the planet. They only portray these people as victims for their own gain. Moral intergrity would require them to understand the meaning of morals, and I can't believe that they do understand that..

Brian M.........how ignorant are you? First off, why don't you answer all of the questions pertaining to this topic with the exact same statment, different questions warrant different answers.

You say " Racism is a right-wing attribute". So are you stating that only right-wing conseratives are racist? Are you saying that I am a racist because I lean more toward the right side of politics?

Look at the definition of racism ("a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race"). In terms an ignorant person like yourself will understand, this means one person uses 'race' and race alone to make decisions about another person.

You call all right-wing people racist, I have never, ever done anything to anyone, strictly based on their race. I didn't assume that guy was on welfare because he was black, I assumed he was on welfare, because I saw him coming of the welfare office with a check in his hands. I don't hate a person because he or she is black, I hate them becasue they are a drain on our society and draw welfare for the 12 kids that have out of wedlock. I pay my taxes, why don't they have to. I might as well adopt their kids and get it over with. Again, I don't hate/despise them for the color of their skin, I hate them for their actions.

Slavery is over and has been for a long time. Everyone in the USA has the same opprotunities in front of them, it is a matter of taking advantage of them.

I think you might want to rethink your position on racism, maybe you should change that word to discrimination, and then stop using that too, because you are discriminating against right-wing people. Oh I am sorry that can't happen, because most right-wings are white.......

Imus is an idiot he represents everything foul and wrong and undermining in todays democratic media he not right wing or even left wing hes a chicken wing thats way over cooked! and by the way the archie bunker comment( though clearly hate filled ) is mis directed, archie was an illiterate uneducated ( from the shallow end of geme pool type tv act aimed at the oddity of democrats. It was a grossly exggeraetd persona, not a real person!
As far as the racist twins ( ones who promote hatered and anger in society for their own personal financial and glory seeking gains? It is sad that so many ( mostly illiterates and the weak minded)find them to be anything but agitators and idiots... with all self serving agendas. Not at all like Dr King who`s goal was peace, kindness, social developement and understanding... They are by no means on the same page...

No, I don't think they have morals at all. They seem to feed on the media attention. Do they think by street talking it gets them the younger audience? It only gathers followers who don't take the time to research the issues. Any one can follow, few can truly lead. Sharpton and Jackson are following a warped agenda, they are not leaders. I am waiting for them to make a difference, where is it???? They jump on causes, they perpetuate causes, but they have not made a difference.

MLK was well spoken, and researched his passion. I believe he would have made a much bigger impact, if he was still here.

This was a good question, it made people think!

Absolutely not! And...FYI...MLK did not have high morals either. The night before he was shot and killed....he spent the night with 4 white whores. That's factual and history.
If blacks want to be truly equal...then let them take the insults just like the rest of us do. Let them stop being whinny babies.
Oh, if you get a chance....listen to Larry Elder. I heard and saw him this morning.....very smart black man. Too bad blacks don't follow his lead rather than the likes of Jackson and Sharpton. Jackson and Sharpton keep the black masses dumbed down.

Who knows but back in the day... Black people had leaders who fought for the freedom and so called privileges that we have today.

To answer your question, who knows if they have the moral integrity to do so but look at this country in was founded on hypocrites and people who robbed and killed to take over someone else's country.

Point being, this country was not founded on who had moral integrity, more like found on the things that are immoral!

honestly. in any different case they include no longer fairness, yet a double properly-known which contravenes their ideals on "separate yet equivalent " to confirm! they shouldn't purely ask for forgiveness to the Duke gamers, yet to the yank human beings for consequently assailing our shape and the unfastened speech promised by it, under the guise of "civil rights activism". in simple terms the place are those 2 "reverends" church homes? the place do they actually "pastor" a congregation. What are their credentials in divinity/doctrinal learn and from what corporation of discovering or seminary? the place is their management in advertising FORGIVENESS to a guy who's clearly truthful in his apology and is being no longer something below railroaded by people who've admitted to the two spitting in human beings's nutrients based on their race, or concerning an entire city as "Hymietown". submit to in suggestions this little element too. Sharpton lists one in each and every of his artwork reports as excursion supervisor for JAMES BROWN! Yeah, i'm particular that develop into all squeaky clean. the two the accuser and the prosecutor in the Duke case ought to circulate to reformatory for existence. it rather is how long the scholars falsely accused and charged will ought to stay with the movements of those 2! Imus ought to circulate to XM and swap the chicken to CBS and MSNBC. i visit then purchase or perhaps sell XM centers! by the way, what's MSNBC with out the I-guy? NADA! they are in a position to now exchange their type to that. As for GM - hey you idiots in Michigan which incorporates some family contributors contributors of mine who artwork there - i'm now paying for a KIA!

No way. They think that they are the next MLK, and they are not. MLK was a great man, and these two are crooks. If I were black, I would not want them to repersent me or my race as a whole. I also can not belive that they call themselves reverend.

They both were pretty quiet when Bryant Gumbel said that the Winter Olympic had too many white people in it. You never hear how they talk to black comedians about not making fun of white people.

This issue isn't about Sharpton or Jackson. They merely served to bring attention to the real issue. That seems to have greatly pissed off all the racist right-wingers.

Imus needed to be fired. Imus is held up nationally as a political spokesperson. He often has political guests on his program and frequently has political discussions. He represents a white majority population that in the not too distant past, horribly repressed the Black population. To allow a man like Imus to promote racism on such a forum is to allow the potential for the abject racism and repression of our past to begin to creep back into our society.

Racism is a right-wing attribute (which is quite obvious on this forum) and Imus speaks to that audience. He knew his audience would appreciate those comments and he was more than willing to cater to their racist whims. A decent society must put a man like Imus and his right-wing Archie Bunker followers in their place.
