..any feelings you might have are appreciated. I am offering a general opinion that the outside view looking in is not good.

Hold up, I'm not asking for your opinion on the verdict. Rather, here's what I would like to point out. Why did it seem so acceptable for everyone to question the stripper's "character" just because she's a stripper, when it seems like the lacrosse player revealed a lot more about is character when he shouted racist things, and later wrote an email about killing strippers? Regardless of what you think of this SPECIFIC case, does this reveal a double standard regarding how we treat sex industry workers? If so, is this prejudice likely to make it difficult for dancers and other sex industry workers who have been assaulted to find justice?

If you were in President Bush's shoes, what would you have done after 9/11?

Everyone is railing on President Bush. So, if you don't agree with his decision(s) come up with an alternative.

It was not many years ago that blacks were literally tortured ( flesh torn out with screws, tarred and set on fire, etc.) that was supported by the US government. Do you consider the physical abuse..being allowed to be raped, beaten, and sometimes murdered..in the jails and police stations a form of torture in the US?

Before Bush told them to "Bring it on?"

Before BushCo. fabricated and manipulated intelligence, and used 9/11 to invade Iraq for no legitimate reason (even one of his neocon puppetmasters, Richard Perle, an architect of the plan since 1998 to invade Iraq, has said the war was illegal, but to him it was worth it, to protect Israel, I guess, he is a dual Israeli citizen).

Afghanistan and Iraq invasions were planned before 9/11. 9/11 was a staged event.

Hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians killed, over 5k American soldiers killed, countless more on both sides maimed for life, and refugees created.

Billions wasted, America's finances a mess, and the shills and pundits on Fox are still selling this, and the Democrats put impeachment off the table last election (support for Bush impeachment far greater than it was for Clinton)

Act locally, support impeachment movements and proceedings at the municipal and state level.

I know at least one of them said lots of things right after the whole thing came out last year, and because the lady was African, one of them said basically "of course they did it" and blaimed them for everything. Where is the players apology?

Don't you find Russell Simmons' defense of hip-hop 'artists' deceitful and two-faced--especially since most of the acts he's supported were middle class and the labels backed by huge corporations???

How much in reparations for my ruined reputation does Simmons owe?

i believe that we are repressed.
what do you think.
for instance yahoo will not allow anit-American, or anti Israel questions.

i say, YOU CAN KILL THE PROTESTER, BUT YOU CAN'T KILL THE PROTEST.

ISRAEL IS WRONGLY PLACED, AMERICA IS A DICTATING STATE.
and don't start going on if i hate Americans i hate the government. not the people, they are truly kind.

It apperars that conservatives actually DO believe in freedom of speech. Even if it comes to defending a liberal's idiotic rant against a group of people who aren't there to defend themselves.
