I think it will just keep going up and we'll stop driving our cars and buy a horse and carriage. Then we wont run out of gas but it will be a luxury item. LOL I don't know.

Unfortunately before we can come up with an alternative fuel there will be a serious problem when gas is over $9.99 a gallon (that's the highest number on most of the gas pumps...Source- A Gas Station Owner) and they will have to buy new gas pumps! I know I sure can't afford ten bucks a gallon!

Supply and demand will see the price go through the roof. Decreasing or at best stagnant supplies and MASSIVELY increasing demand by the US, China, and India. Guess you could say that unless we come up with a viable alternative (not wind or solar, libs) pronto we're pretty much screwed.
Think about all that is made from or relies on oil and petroleum based products....drugs, plastics, agriculture, transportation...the list is endless. Quite the rosy picture from a global economic perspective.

Gas will be around for many more years, but the hybrid and alternatives will be a reality before long to gas operated vehicles. Gas prices aren't going down very much, if they do. I feel that they will still be well over $2.00 per gal. for a long time and start getting used to over $3.00 per gal. We are a slave to our conveniences. Like it or not.

it incredibly is getting extra costly to extract the black gold, plus you have oil speculators goofing around with the fees. anticipate the expenditures to get even bigger however, as sooner or later we can would desire to apply much extra costly ability to extract oil. The oil expenditures won't drop, till we hit upon a extensive inventory pile of definitely accessible oil, and that i'm conversing one which runs into trillions upon trillions of barrels of oil.. no longer likely to ensue. i understand human beings chortle off height oil, yet it incredibly is what's happening precise now, oil is a finite grant and we've used many of the definitely accessible black gold, now it demands extra ingenuity to extract it. supply it yet another 20 years, jointly as something of the international is being industrialized in the past it incredibly turns into outrageously costly. And in ordinary terms for a part word, i'm no longer an alarmist.. i'm no longer a doomsday sayer, it incredibly is in ordinary terms uncomplicated experience.
