Millions of people protest the Iraq war everyday.
NOTHING CHANGES.
Imus says three words and in one week - He's FIRED..
How can we get George Bush to make a racially charged remark? Get Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson in Congress.. They know how to GIT 'ER' DONE...

OOPS...sorry...I hope I didn't offend any rednecks by saying Git R Done....no wait, Larry The cable guy says that. I guess that's ok to protray rednecks as stupid white trash...Or how about Al Sharpton's anti-semetic remarks? OK i guess..
I'm confused.
Who does freedom of speech count for? Somebody tell me before I say the wrong thing in this country we call AMERICA..Land of the FREE...
OOPS, I offended advocates of the first amendment.

This is a twist.
But this was sort of easy to "solve". And why did you mention the war? The racists who populate this country will nail you to the floor for any mention of it.
It still doesn't solve the problem. Instead of being worried how those girls will have to live with that hurtful comment, they are worried with not being able to have the RIGHT to say something nasty about someone.
They want to be able to say what they want when they want about anyone.
And freedom of speech means the government does not intervene when someone says something, not individuals.
And other black people who said things were fired in ONE DAY. A week was too long.
A professional should at least keep what his racism to himself...if this were truly a Christian nation, these words wouldn't have even been thought of to say...
As for Git er done..nothing has been solved..about this or the war...

sure i think of we are able to, with further and extra human beings coming into into institutions of better guidance consistent with annum, quickly we are able to be this hump we check out. I do besides the undeniable fact that choose to show out that, the black center class is extensive and is the main important minority center class, so not all human beings are trapped in this slump, however the media does over signify us that way. i think of yet another element of the difficulty is that those human beings who're interior the middle class are unfolded and not centralized so it continually seems as though have been purely one in all some black families in our neighborhoods, and we are the few that made it out of the ghetto. yet relatively we are between the numerous black families who do not stay interior the ghetto, we are only so scattered. yet PG county, MD, & Queens, vast apple have very super numbers of center and uppermiddle class black families centralized in one section and it is humorous becasue those blacks have completely diverse mentalities while it includes the state of the black community. additionally interior the la section the place I stay The Ladera Heights has an regular homestead cost of over $1million and avg family contributors earnings of over 100k and this community is fantastically much ninety% black.

It just shows how fast the white community will fall all over its self because some other ethnic group is offended. How offended can you be if a shock jock says something unflattering about you? Its not like his comments weren't directed to every race and religion---that was what his job was about.

Sweetie, this is just one out of thousands. If our community really wanted to get something done, we would stop the war on our streets first. Forget Imus, he's small compared to the other people who are physically against us, ourselves.

Yeah, I'm so impressed that the "Black community" (also known as Al and Jesse) are working to destroy freedom of speech. That's impressive.

Our PC society has turned us into a bunch of wimps. We cant say anything, we cant write anything, we cant even look at minorities the wrong way.

The African American community had nothing to do with Imus getting fired. He was fired because some advertisers backed away, causing the network to lose money.
