Our bed has wooden slats in it and when the slats were bought they were mesured for the bed, but I am not sure when they were purchsed, I got the bed from my parents and they have had the bed for a while. The slats fit when we put them in and we are not sure why they fall. How can I keep the slats from falling out. We still live in an apartment and will move often until we are able to get a house or put this bed in the guest room so I need something that can be easily taken apart! Thanks for any help!

I've closed and opened my pool three years in a row and it's always green and I always have to spend a lot of $ to get the water right. I close my pool correctly, to the letter! I'm thinking it might be best to empty out my pool when I'm ready to open it, then fill my pool up with a garden hose. I would save money doing this!

Hi all. I have an apartment with no AC. My bedroom faces southwest, and is the only part of the partment that gets to hot in the summer. It is against the apartment complex's policy to have anything stick out the window - are there any units that will fit in the windowsill, but not stick outside the window? Any other units I can just plug into the wall?

I cleaned out the grill completely and there are still bugs when I uncover the grill each time I start to bbq. I get so freaked out that I turn on my grill for a good 1/2 an hour to an hour on high to make sure everything is dead inside. How can I prevent this?

First off, don't flame me and tell me to tell them not to keep it, they want it, and they are going to keep it no matter what I say, so what should we feed it? We have an empty hampster cage with bedding and water, but I don't know if it knows how to use the water bottle, or eat the same as a hampster.

What can we do to keep it alive? We plan to turn it lose (FAR AWAY FROM THE HOUSE!) when it gets back to good health, but what can we do?

Hello...

I am trying to find details of a modern glass suitable for use in a bathroom that is clear but that will also frost over when, I believe, an electrical current is passed through it.

In essense, the glass is in its static state see-through however if the bathroom is to be used a switch is flicked and the glass clouds/frosts.

The question is, can anyone tell me the correct name of this glass, where I might source it , and maybe even any iternet sites that have details of it?

Thanks for any information.

I am trying to put 4x4 fence posts in for a privacy fence. I am a woman and up to this point have not needed anyones help to get the fence up. About a third of the way through I had to stop to remove a small stump from some kind of evergreen tree. I am putting the fence panels up as I get the posts in. I know that's not the way it's supposed to be done but thats typical for me. Long and short ruined 3 saws trying to get the stump and finally spent hours with a hatchet chipping it out one inch of wood at a time. Now I am digging the holes and the roots are in the way. A landscaper has been saying that he would come and dig the holes out but has been unreliable at best. Another reason is he says that I CAN'T do it myself. Me, My Sister and a good idea about how to solve the problem.
Please Help!!

We grew seedless sunflowers in our flower bed but these little bee things are eating the centers out of the flowers. Anyone know of a really good repellent that will keep them away? After watching the flowers grow, we'd hate to see them die!

I plan to put in 2 clothes line poles about 2 !/2 feet deep.
The gas company was just here to mark off my yard about 3 weeks ago, for a 5 foot fence, but that has been mowed over and I dont think they did the whole yard, just where the fencing company put up the fence.
How long does it take them to show up if I have to call and will they tell me where it is safe to put the holes?

My brother & I recently gave my mum a new cooker for a birthday present.

However, the glass oven door has an "industrial-strength" sticker on it. How does one remove the sticker COMPLETELY without damaging the door ? Any particular substance that will be safe to use ? I live in the UK, so it must be something easily available here.

Thanks in advance for all answers.

Bless you.

i have lived in the same 2nd floor apartment in a three story building for the last 10 years and 8 months. i never had a mouse problem before. now suddenly they are all over my apartment and my neighbors say they have them too. there has been no construction or demolition within a 3 block radius and the only change in the area has been that the people below my apartment moved out last week and new tenants moved in above my apartment last month. the weather has been warm and fairly stable for monthes, no new animals in the area to drive the mice inside. i don't know why they are suddenly here but after finding one in my clothes draw i want them DEAD and or gone. what is the best way to get rid of my uninvited furry guests?
i have no pets or children, i don't keep cerial or other such dry storage food item (except bread) and plants are out because i'm allergic.
how do i kill these little sob's, i think they are making me sick, i have had a raspy cough and runny nose since they invaded.
