how do u keep a beastalk alive?

My son planted a beanstalk and I dont know how to keep it alive. What do I need to do to keep it alive?

Just water it every now and again. Also, give it something to climb on. I don't know where you are but here it is already to hot to grow beans. Beans grow during the cooler temps so you may not be able to keep it alive no matter what you do.

water it....that's a novel idea....have your son help. he's the one who planted it.
