Hi, I'm looking to buy a white frost free fridge freezer. I'd welcome recommendations about which brand to go for, or information if you have one and it hasn't worked as well as you expected. The price range I'm looking at is between £270 to £360 ish.

Hi, I have just won a crate of lager that I don't drink, but I do have an allotment. I know that slugs love beer, but can lager be used instead as a slug lure? (I have given as many cans away as my friends want so am trying to think of other ways to use it!)

When I was in college (late 90s) I had an appliance that would cook potatoes, bake them (it was a stand alone electric thing, like a sandwhich maker etc) but I cant remember which company made it or what it was called, and I wouldnt mind having one again

So does anyone still have one of these or remember what it was called?

Thanks
JC

I have some farm equipment I need to get rid of. It just doesn't work anymore (actually it never really worked well in the first place). I've tried fixing it myself but it's no use. Should I throw it away? Do you think I can send it back to the manufacturer overseas?

Me and my girlfriend of 4 years live together. We both go to school as full time students (12 credit hours each). I must commute 1 hour to my campus, and then I return back to the city I live in and work in for eight hours. I work full time at a major insurance company, and I don't get off work until 3AM. My girlfriend works part time at her campus, which is here in Cleveland, and she also does a one day a week stint at a car dealership on Sundays. I am a senior taking upper division courses; she is a sophomore taking her basic requirement courses. We run into a problem with keeping the apartment clean because I have little to no time, and she doesn't feel like she does either, despite being home much more often than I am. I expect her to do more of the chores only because she is home more hours out of the week then I am. She gets frustrated because she feels like doing more chores impedes her study time...but what about mine?

I have a hummingbird feeder in my backyard that is used by about five or six hummingbirds. This morning (around 8 am.), a new hummer was sitting on my feeder. I wanted to change the food, but he was sitting there so I left to visit my mother in the hospital. I came home at 4pm and he was still sitting there. It is an hour and a half later now and he is still there. So....I think he has been there all day. The food needs to be changed, but I am afraid to scare him away. Is there anything I can do? Should I just leave him alone or should I try to make him fly off? I feel so sad for him.

It is an antique turqoise color that has "American Home" on the front of it. Deluxe precision built. I don't know the year. Are they very common? I find Free Westinghouses but no Precision sewing machines. It has the # 32 on the bottom of the machine and is in it's case. I don't know if it works, I think it needs to be serviced before I try to turn it on. If anyone knows about this machine, I'd appreciate any help. Thank you!

They are so beautiful and they taste so good .... and it seems to me that the growers have outwitted the musty problem that they had at one time.... so what is it still? Are they fragile, or do they spoil quickly ... or do we export most of them?

I can't think of anything more expensive in the greengrocers, can you?
