Our garden is basically grass that has been waterlogged and then dug up by a naughty dog! And is now a muddy mess with bits of grass here and there. How do we go about making it into a nice lawn for the kids to play on?

We found a house. But we need to give our landlord a 30 day notice to the apartment managment. We wont be staying the whole month here. Do we pay the full amount or do they pro-rate it. Also how do I write our 30 day notice. I have no idea. Any help is great. Thank you in advance.

We have a neighbor raising honey bees that are traveling

around the area in search of water or soon to polinate.

How do we keep these bees from coming on to our lot from

about 100yards from our house and then returning to their

home. We like our neighbors and want to protect the bees

if possible. Our dogs have been bitten along with ourselves.

House is in the UK, very isolated and no chance of ever getting mains gas. I wondered if a central and water heating system run off oil or cannister gas, a log burning aga, solid fuel aga or anything not mentioned is particularly better and more economical than the other. Any advice would be helpful. I havent even considered solar or any other eco possibility~but am open minded to suggestions as long as affordable.

I know department stores give you three months to change your mind on a mattress, but I was going through a nasty divorce and had other things on my mind. Now it's nearly a year later and I've hated this mattress selection the entire time (pillowtop). I had the mattress inspector from the department store come out, but they won't help me. Do I have any options?

I live in an apartment, don't know my neighbors, but I have recently seen quite a few roaches in my apartment. What's the best way to get rid of these pests? I'm quite neat and clean (in fact most people call me OCD) So I know its not my cleanliness. But as I mentioned I also live in an apartment complex, with 3 other apartments in my building (There are about 10 buildings in the entire complex) I don't live next to a dumpster, but I do live kinda in the woods. (There are a lot of trees nearby) What is the best way for me to secure my apartment of this. I'm starting to spot 2-3 per day. Not many I know, but if I'm seeing that many...I know there are many more. Any advice?
