I think it's brass, its a yellowy metal sheet that looks like it hasn't been cleaned for years, in the front entrance. I've got a polish, but I want to know how to clean it first, without scratching it with a scourer (which I already did in a small section ). preferably with everyday cleaning products(not expensive) Thanks.

I have a Whirlpool Electric set-in stove the model#:RDE6300w2. I am trying to find a website that might let me know the value. It is in mint condition, no chips, or any sort of damages for that matter. If you could please help me find a website that may help, that would be great. Thanks a bunch!

Places like Dubai have a "gold quarter", or a "perfume suq". Why does every UK town seem to have an exotic "Estate Agent Quarter"?
Please help. This is one of the mysteries of my life.

I've been living in my Dad's house while he lives in another city for work, so I've technically been living alone for a few years. But I'm finally getting my own place and I want advice - decorating, safety, how to go about getting the apartment (should I go through someone or look on my own?)

Purchased a New Home Memory 7 used - no manual unfortunately - can't get it to do a basic stitch! It sews 2 or 3 stitches and the needle jumps to the left. When I check it, there is a TON of thread under the material. Any ideas what is going on? I don't even understand how to thread this thing, I can't see where the thread is going.

I was laying down on my side yesterday under the covers and suddenly a spider comes crawling from out of my blankets.

Ever since then I have been scared and paranoid about everything around me.

Where do they come from? Do they lay eggs indoors?

If they lay eggs what do they look like because I want to get rid of them.
