You can just throw it in the toilet in almost all places (in the u.s.). As long as you are not far out in the country, or live in a trailer home where they use individual septic tanks, and even in this case it is fine most of the time.

Yes. Used toilet paper goes in the toilet. Don't use too much though or you will clog the toilet. On your next trip to Walmart, Kmart, Target, or your local home improvement store you should buy a plunger in case the toilet does get clogged. It happens to everyone once in a while. One more thing, nothing but toilet paper goes in there. No tissues, paper towels, napkins or anything else. These things are not biodegradable like toilet paper and will get stuck in your pipes.
Even when we lived in the country and had a septic tank we still flushed toilet paper. It will not hurt anything. There are special enzymes that you can buy to help speed up the dissolving process.
I've never known a single person who throws it in the trash. In fact that's really gross.

Throw it in the toilet, that is what it's made for. Just don't try and throw 1/2 a roll in the toilet and then try to flush it all at one time. Good luck

That depends. If you have a public sewage system in your home, throw it in the toilet. If you have a cesspool or septic system, you can still throw it in the toilet but it will cause your cesspool to fill up and clog faster, so many people choose to throw used paper in the garbage.

you still can, wash up ,like you claim to be used to ,even with a western toilet.
if you use toiletpaper ,you must use it on boths sides,to be more economical.
and keep the toilet paper,in a separated basket, for the monthly sanitation police control.
