Here in Canada, we have St. Vincent de Paul, Salvation Army, St. Leonard's Society. You could also try church groups.

yes,i live in texas too! there is a place called helping hands.also i think salvation army can help too! women in need! your local churches! also call the local food bank,they sometimes have a list of other helps than food! also try human resources they should have a list of places that can help!
