Last summer I saw a home where someone had grown what I think were morning glories in the most beautiful display. It looked like they had several wires or strands of twine secured to the ground at one end, with the other other end sweeping up at an angle, and attached to a porch or tree. These beautiful blue flowered vines were climbing this "trellis", sweeping about 8 feet. Has anyone seen this? Is there any trick to doing this? Does anyone have a picture of this type of display?

I've found a townhome I am interested in buying and the only way to get to the second floor is up a spiral staircase. The second floor overlooks the living room below.

My fiance and I recently purchased our first home. It's a fixer upper. We are starting with the front yard which due to previous owners negligence is a disgrace. The patio had two giant cracks in the cement which I patched up. The next day the cement was cracked again right where I patched it up. What happened and how do I fix it?

We need some kind of repellent for gnats/no-seeums for our yard... They are really bad this year. I read about the dish soap/vinegar stuff and we are going to try that but we wanted something to spray ot put on the yard that works... There are plenty of items out there but I wanted to get recommendations from you all before spending any money on those... THANKS!!

I love having flowers in the house, but they seem to only last for a couple days. What can I do or add to the water to keep them from wilting so quickly?

I found a bug/insect in my house that i have never seen before. It is 1/4" wide by 1.5" long with 40+ legs. I know it is not a centipede or millipede. It is brown in color. It looks nasty. Is there a forum i can check bugs/insects out to see what it is? Thanks

I know a "full" bathroom must have a toilet, sink, and shower/bathtub. And a "half" contains just a toilet and sink.

So what would a .1 bathroom or .25 bathroom be? Please list sources if you have them. Thanks.

WE are looking into buying a Natural Gas BBQ this weekend and We were looking at Walmart and they have these brands called Nevada or Montana and I've never heard of these but I'm wondering if you think they would be ok brands, or crappy. Or let me know of a good brand name for a BBQ. Nothing to expensive. thanks

We'd had our fridge for just over a year, and the bulb went. Though it a bit odd that it'd only lasted a year, but never mind. So we replaced the bulb. And that's when we discovered that even when you close the door, the light stays on!!

There's a button you can press that changes it from 'always on' to 'turns off when you close the door'. The fridge had come from the factory with it set to 'always on'.

So that explains why the bulb only lasted a year, but leads me to 2 questions:

1) Why is there a setting for the light to stay on when the door is closed????
2) Why is the factory default setting 'always on'??
