i am agree- that is bargain! I have main for over 3 years now. It wasn't £3.99 but still.... I just have to clean it a bit often. it is one thing that bothering me with my trusty old kettle

I paid £4.99 for my kettle when we moved into our house 3 and a half years ago, still going strong, touch wood.

I've had mine about 7 years, part of a cheapo white set with toaster when we first set up home.
It looks a bit shabby and dated now, would like a nice new shiny one but it seems a waste when it still works!

well, i had an expensive one until recently - one that lit up with blue lights, and boiled in extra quick time. the damned thing only lasted a year ! got a replacement from Tescos which cost me a third of what the first one did, so i'll have to see how it compares....
