I found a bug/insect in my house that i have never seen before. It is 1/4" wide by 1.5" long with 40+ legs. I know it is not a centipede or millipede. It is brown in color. It looks nasty. Is there a forum i can check bugs/insects out to see what it is? Thanks

It does look as though a crab and provided that it has purely 4 obtrusive legs i could say it grow to be some form of hermit crab. perchance it theory the cookie jar ought to be its new shell. in case you reside close to the coastline attempt and stumble on a super sufficient shell for it to apply then launch it close to a rock pool.

Go to terminex.com or is it terminix.com? they used to have pictures of the more common species of bugs that are found in homes or even the website for D-con or Raid

I,m pretty sure that this is a "silver fish". They like dampness and are commonly found among old books ,paper and wood.
