You don't get them up the staircase. Best way is to hoist them up over the railing to the second floor, did that in my house with our king sized bed. Spiral staircases suck. Good Luck!

You may need new furniture if yours is big and can't be taken apart or brought in through a window from the outside. Some furniture can be assembled once up there. You can opt for a queen size mattres with a split box (even though the queen mattress can bend a bit, you need to make sure it can make the turns). You'll need to measure everything before you buy to see if it'll fit.

Alot of lofts, have huge pane windows/ sliding doors. My boss owns a loft and when they moved in, they hired a Crane company and the Crane, lifted the furniture into the second floor. I didn't cost much either. There is no way, you can get a mattress or a couch up those stairs.

If there is a roof below a second floor window; lift it onto the roof and then thru the window. My daughter had a queen size bed that would not go up the stairs and turn the corner. They actually had to take the window and frame out. Hope this helps.

See if you can remove the railing. Or, if it's an open overlook into the lower level (no window), might be easier just to rig up something to take furniture up that way.

With much difficulty. If it's too big to fit up the stair, you might consider some type of hoist if the balcony area is open, then you could just hoist it up. With lots of help of course.

i think it depends on wat kind of furniture if u can take it apart i would do that it would be more trips but it would be safer and if it is a couch or something like that i would get a couple strong people to help lift
