It may be worth money, not sure, but on the inside of the door of the safe, it shows an eagle and it says Vulcon, not sure on the spelling. I would like to get it open but not sure what to do? Does anyone know about this safe? The name I remember on the door is not out there on the net anywhere? Ive had it for 10 yrs not sure about it after that, but it sits in a end table setting as though it is supposed to be a hidden safe. There are two drawers in this table and then the safe sits inside it, and the two drawers have no handles as though they are supposed to be hidden. Can anyone tell me about the history of this type of furniture or just the safe itself? I would like to get it open.

We barrowed a Crafsman table saw that is about 3-4 years old and it is not working when we turn it on. We were told there was a reset button at the bottom of the motor and there is nothing.
Is there another spot or something else we need to do?

we have the laundry room right next to the lower level bathroom, no matter what water (except the washer) we run, it backs up into the shower through the drain, bring with it some nasty tagalongs and a very unpleasant smell. no matter where the water comes from, it just kicks back up into the tub, once more, except the washer, we've snaked the main pipe going out to the septic tank, and poured every chemical you can think of to unblock it, the more we use, the more it seems that it isnt a block. about a year ago, we had to get a new septic tank, the old one was over 30 years old and fell apart, and thats about when this started acting up, were looking for as many answers that doesn't mean tearing up our lawn more than it has already been, the grass has just grown back. so please, if you have any suggestions, id appreciate them, thank you.

In a rush this morning I was emptying my car from the night before and set our Windex bottle on the wood stairs. 12 hours later I discovered the bottle had leaked, and there is now a "ring" on the stairs. It almost looks discolored on part of it, that may be from the blue of the Windex.

But what can I do, help...

I have purchased a REPLACEMENT bladder tank for my residential well, and the instruction sheet says I should install a pressure relief valve. The EXISTING system does not have a separate one, except for the T & P valve on the water heater.

Insofar as the water heater shares the same pressures in the system, is this one valve all that is required?

The new tank is rated for a 125 psi working pressure maximum, and I intend to use the system with a 40 - 60 psi pressure switch.

The T & P relief on the water heater has a tag showing 150 psi.

Your help will be appreciated.

They also told her that she would need to replace ALL of her home's gas lines. And here's the question; do gas lines deteriorate in such a way that replacement is necessary. Her home is on a crawl space. Her plumber's estimate is $3000.00.

My home was built in the 1840's - long before the municipal water supply was installed. I've been thinking of having a water well drilled to supply my irrigation needs, but I'm certain that prior well(s) existed somewhere on the property.

QUESTION: How I could detect an existing, capped well under the surface of my yard?

I am installing a 95mm cable for the first time and finding it very hard to bend and get an exact length to fit inside a 200amp fused isolator, tails are approx 150mm in length coming out of the top of the isolator which doesn't give much to play with, perhaps I am doing something wrong, can anyone advise, is there any tool available to carry out the job, also trying to crimp inside the box is impossible with the crimps i am using unless there is something else to do this in a small place. Many thanks

I live in an 80-year-old house with old pipes that are generally in pretty good condition for their age. Occasionally we have minor clogs (usually hair). Is it OK to use commercial drain openers to fight the clogs? The bottles state that they are safe for all kinds of pipes, including old plumbing, but other people have told me this is not true. Is there something else I should be using instead?

I have a craftsman 22" push mower that is giving me some trouble. I hit a huge rock and the mower shut down on me like it is supposed to do. I went and replaced the broken keyway with a new one because it was pretty obvious that it was broken. After I put everything back togeather it will not start. I also replaced the old spark plug with a brand new one.
Someone told me that the mower is out of time----So how do I get it back into time. I think that may be the problem but I am not 100% sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated as my grass is growing by the second.

We have a water heater in our basement that has what appears to be an overflow hose attached to it that leads to a drain in the floor. This hose seems to run more than a little bit. Not constantly but I'd say at least once a day for an hour. I'm concerned that we are wasting a lot of water. I guess I'm just trying to find out if this is normal or not. and if it isn't normal if anyone has any suggestions as to how to curtail the problem without calling and ~expensive~ plumber.

Thanks,
Catherine
