I have a double ended white coloured plastic bath. One of my children has badly marked the inside of it with what I think is an ink pen, so it now has a lot of dark coloured scratches. The bath cost me approx. £800 5 years ago and I am now thinking of selling my house. I do not want to buy a new bath, does anybody have any ideas as to how I can remedy this problem?

Lexmark z24.
This just started today, and never had this happen before.

I have tried to align, clean, the cartridges and yet still blurry. Both color and black are full.

It seems that the paper is not feeding properly, during printing.
Rollers? Or the paper? Not using any special paper, just regular paper.

Any simple fixes?

I have a 1 car garage that was built in the 50's. The foundation is fine but it needs a new roof, siding, 2 windows and a garage door. The question is, would it be the same price to fix it as it would to have have it torn down and build a new one?

My concrete driveway looks like crap with holes and loose gravel and the like. It was never sealed or poorly done to start with. I cannot afford a new one or even to have it recoated. Can I use blacktop sealant on it? I would like to have it black as well.

Our house reeked of gas yesterday after my husband mowed the lawn and put the mower back in the garage. We aired out the house and the garage and closed everything up before we went to bed. I woke up in the middle of the night and our bedroom smelled very strongly of gasoline. The garage is on the opposite side of the house. When I opened up the garage door, the smell was overwhelming so we moved the lawnmower to the backyard. There is no gas coming out of it. We checked thoroughly and there is no external leak. Could the gas be leaking inside of the mower? It's definitely the lawnmower, because after we removed it, the smell was gone.

It deflates rapidly yet there doesn't seem to be any discernable leak. It's electric blow up so I can't dunk it in a swimming pool.

I was in the middle of mowing and my mower died. I checked gas and oil - added a little oil and tried to start it again. The cord won't pull out now.

I know a woman who is in her 60's and is a total packrat! This woman has been collecting pointless objects for decades.
She owns a big house, yet every single room is cluttered. Some rooms are used strictly for storage (3 rooms filled to the ceiling with boxes), but all rooms are absolutely cluttered. Her attic is stuffed so full of junk, her garage as well, she has run out of space so there are boxes in the hall! all her 3 sheds are full as well. It is a fire hazard is it not? I tried to explain the danger but she shrugs it off as though she's the senior and therefore correct. What would the city/fire department do if they knew about this? I worry not just about the consequences she may face from them but that the house will catch fire someday. Help me know what she faces and what I can do to help? Thanks all!

The blinds in my office and bedroom are I guess really old (according to the landlord) and if I let them up, it's really hard to get them to close. Well I opened them halfway today due to the weather and now I just tried to just them and they are stuck all the way at the top.
I am pulling to the left and the cords do not seem to be twisted. What can I do? I can't even pull the entire blind down because they have it bolted up there pretty tight.
What my landlord originally told me to do when I have this problem is to pull to the left and then guide them down, BUT THAT DIDN'T WORK THIS TIME AND NOW THEY ARE STUCK AT THE TOP AND I'M REALLY FRUSTRATED.
Can anyone help me????

I installed a new programmable thermostat last December and it was working fine. Turned heat on and off during winter. I switched to cooling once it started getting hot and it also worked. I turned the thermostat to off when the weather was nice but now when I try to turn it to cool it does not turn on the air conditioner. I tried to turn the heat on and turning the fan to on instead of auto and it did not work. How can I check if this is a problem with the thermostat? Or is there something else I should try? Thanks for your help. The thermostat is a Hunter Model 44360.

As I was baking today I noticed something unusual about my electric oven. I noticed a small one-inch glow after I was done. I didn't think much of it until it kept moving and then eventually sparking. I immediately unplugged it and noticed that the heating element cracked. Can this be replaced? And is it easy enough for me? I am selling my house and I don't want to have to buy another stove.

My central AC unit has frozen over. I had let the air filter get completely dirty to the point where little to no air had gotten through. (I know, I know, I should have known better). I couldn't feel ANY air blowing through the vents after I switched the filter so it must be pretty bad. My question is: how long to leave it off with the fan blowing to get all the ice inside to melt?

We have almost been in our brand new house for a year and we just noticed the grass around the air conditioning unit is all wet. It looks like the water is coming out of the condensation line but it seems like an awful lot of water. It also seems to be leaking where the hoses are hooked up to the house. Is this normal? What could be the cause of this? It is really hot where we live so the air conditioning runs pretty much all the time. Thank you in advance for your answers.

Our dog has gone cujo on a few of our doors and window frames. One needs to be replaced completely but he others looks like they could just be repaired. Are there any goos or pastes that fill in wood scratches and bite marks well??

The furnace unit inside the house is older and needs replaced but we need just a few more months out of it. We have a problem where every year after a hot week (or a few days) the unit will freeze up. Normally I clean the coils and let it thaw and it works again. The problem is this time the blower will not power up. I am able to get the compressor up and running outside but it has been about 5 hours and still the fan will not power up. I would like to check the relay and capacitor but have a few questions first. The capacitor is removable and I have a DMM (digital multimeter) to test it. Question is: Is this the same as any capacitor I would test in an electronics circuit just larger? Also the relay.... How is that tested? Thank you for all of your help
