A/C doesn't seem to be cooling properly

The refrigerant may not be circulating, meaning the compressor is shot. Or, the expansion valve in the house could be wide open, so that there is not much of a pressure differential between the high and low pressure lines. Pressure gages on both lines should help to diagnose the problem. Be careful if you have a newer system with R-410 refrigerant as it operates at a much higher pressure.

Check the air filter and indoor coil to see if you have enough air flow across the coil.

You could be low on refrigerant, you will need to contact a reputable company and have the pressure & temperature checked. This is not something you as a homeowner can do yourself.
