Any ideas how I can increase the water level down my toilet pan? Obviously if I pour water down the loo, the water level sorts itself out round the u-bend and stays the same. It just seems to look a little low. Any ideas? Can I top up the water level in the cistern thing?

Any plumbers out there got any ideas?

Was wondering where I could buy a tool that would plan the bottom of the door without actually having to take the door off the hinges. I know one exists but just dont know the name of it.

My son's dragon figurine's wing broke off during shipping, and since I cannot return it or exchange it (EBay) I am forced to try and repair it. I've never had good luck fixing miniatures, figurines, or anything else made of a poly resin, porcelain, or ceramic. I've tried super glue and construction adhesive, both did not work. I was able to clean most of the failed attempts off though so I have a semi clean working surface. Any advice would be great, as this was his Christmas present.

Two cleaning questions...

First, the whiteish linoleum floor on the bathroom floor of my apartment has some yellow stains that seem to be from a reaction to something and the bath mat that covered them. Anyone know how to get those off?

Second, we have white walls in the apartment and I am looking for the best way to cover old nail and other hanging holes.

of the machine.I bought it used. My problem is that it doesn't collect lint. None. Ever. I would actually appreciate this if it weren't for the fact that I picture it bursting into flames one day. Anyone have any ideas, besides "never buy a used appliance"?

Craftsman 2 stage snowblower with 5hp engine.
Stalls when choke is opened... works fine when choke is closed.
Starts easily with choke closed and no smoke.

How can I fix this? Thank you

Who do I contact to get the foundation inspected and if the foundation is not fixable who would I contact to get a new foundation? The house is a VERY large 2 story one acre house. All the other stuffed (pipes, electrial, etc are still good, for a couple more years. Sorry can't say the price of the house then I would get bias results. It's got fair marktet value. Thanks.

According to a Google search, several knife-care sites say that I should oil my pocket knife blade to keep in from rusting.

What kind of oil should be used?

I have never owned a knife before...any more tips you can share?
