Roofing question?
I need to replace my roof. I have narrowed my choices down to 3 brands. Out of the following which is best and why. Elk, Gaf, and CertainTeed .

i would choose elk......in my 28 yrs less return calls due to wind and they seem to seal better than the other 2......

I just worked on a house where Elk's 40 year shingles had separated after only 8 years... The roofing contractor that we use say that Owens' Corning 30 year shingle is the best, with the fewest callbacks... I know that was not one of your choices, but I wanted to just put out there for you. Good Luck and Happy New Year!!!

they are all good and ofer various levels of quality. Just get the top of the line if you want the best
