they said problem probably inside house. The lights are dim and will go completely out if you add a drain such as a bathroom fan. Our washing mach. has stopped working, even when plugged into a working outlet. Our waterheater can only warm the water, it will not get hot. It seems the electrical problem has possibly burned out these appliances? Or did an appliance burn out and cook a wire? Please help. This started Friday morning and I have not been able to get Duke Power Co. or an Electrcian to our home. Thank You. If you want to email me directly on this, my email is nextlevelccc@yahoo.com

The faucet is a Glacier Bay model with a hot, cold and sprayer. The water barely trickles out of the faucet even when both valves are fully open. We have checked the lines for clogs and kinks, but water is obviously getting to the faucet because the sprayer, although not with the kind of pressure I would like, works. I am normally handy and this is not rocket-science, but we can not figure this out. Any help out there? Your input would be appreciated.

The ice maker leaked into the freezer and after thawing out and turning back on the refrigerator still won't get cold, the freezer does. The fan in the freezer doesn't seem to be running. Checked with a VOM motor seems fine, but not working.

I need suggestions, preferably any kind of suggestion would do at this point. I need lighting in my basement, it's very dark down there, but there are only a few plug ins and rewiring is not an option. Overcrowding the plugs seems dangerous, so I was hoping that there was some kind of batter powered light that could be purchased that I could use. Is there such a thing? What would they be called? I would prefer to keep prices on the lower end, but I would like a bright or very bright light if possible, sufficient enough to compensate for the lack of light already there. Since it's in a basement, I would prefer something simi-resistant to the elements like dampness and dust, I have a workshop that can be a little messy at times. Preferably, I would like the lights to last a while, more than a few hours or so, just for practicality reasons. But all that is just extras, I just need some lights! Any help, suggestions, comments, ideals, etc would be appreciated! Thank you

Ants have suddenly appeared inside my house. They're just marching back and forth near my front door. I'm worried that they'll spread. What can I do/use to keep them away that won't harm my indoor cats? (My cats like to chew on things, particularly plastic). And does anyone know why they're coming inside in the first place? There's no food or anything in that area. I've seen them swarm on a dead cricket (I've also been hit by those), but even after I got rid of it, they kept on coming.

I would go from 4 feet up with a metal chimany or alike if mortar is not possible to be used again. If this too is possible, chiney is 3x3x3x3 feet around.
chimany is 140 years old.

I have used chlorine and a pressure washer in the past to remove dirt and mildew from my shingles. Are there any other methods that are better and less harmful to the shingles?

I had someone reframe my airconditioner and he did a horrible job inside. I can see the dry wall edge because he didn't line up the 2" molding correctly. I am aggravated every time I look at it. I am not sure what to say when I call the company back.

About two weeks ago we bought a house and moved in. The house had been empty for quite awhile so when we had brown water coming out of the faucets, we didn't think anything of it. Now we still have it sometimes when we first turn the water on in the kitchen. We have city water. Any ideas what is causing this?
