The faucet is a Glacier Bay model with a hot, cold and sprayer. The water barely trickles out of the faucet even when both valves are fully open. We have checked the lines for clogs and kinks, but water is obviously getting to the faucet because the sprayer, although not with the kind of pressure I would like, works. I am normally handy and this is not rocket-science, but we can not figure this out. Any help out there? Your input would be appreciated.

Check the screens in the tip of faucet. They get clogged with particles. Sometimes just enough to stop water flow. Happened to me more than once.

Clean the aerator/strainer at the end of the faucet. You also may need new kits for the hot and cold valves. I have also found that the flexable lines to the faucets can have line or scaling in it. I usually take a bucket and turn the water on and run the output of the flexable lines into it. Companies use the water saver vavles and they are a pain, I have even drilled out the valve kits.

couple of reasons first take the aerator off. If you don't know what that is it is the piece that has the screen in it at the end of the faucet. more then likely if is clogged with either white or black pieces. If so just tap it on the counter top a couple of times to get the stuff out, or try to take it a part but remember how u take it a part because if you don't do it right u will not get water again. If that don't work. email me at ffpuck326@aol.com I will walk you though another way.

When you press the sprayer lever, it operates a diverter that sends the water to the sprayer. That diverter is probably stuck, and now won't allow water to come out of the faucet.

Got an air compressor? Blow it up through the faucet backwards. Something has got to be blocking it.
