Its a new cabinet, there a four drawns but only one is doing this. The drawer slides seem to be in otherwise perfect condition.

It sounds as if the drawer slides are tilted out of level in the back.

You could try removing the rear screws which secure each slide, lower the back of the slide a bit (1/8 inch) and reinstall the screws in new holes.

The drawer slides need to be lowered from the back. They are not level. If its too much trouble you can try putting shavings like whats left over when u use an eraser in the tracks.

Sounds like you need an excorsist not a carpenterif the drawer opens by itself.
