I just want to aggravate my stepdad.

The lights are always turned on, the television and computer is also turned on for more than 12 hours, what else should I do to increase the electric bill?

All suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I only have the mower part and no handle. It is old! I want to sharpen it and find a handle. Where can I find a handle? Could I put a handle from a regular push mower on it?

Is there any additive one can mix with wet flat paint still in the can, to give it a sheen, such as what satin or semi-gloss may provide once the paint has been applied and has dried?

Yes my husband is a genius. After our last BBQ, I noticed the siding is all warped. The grill was probably 2-3 feet away. The peices don't fit together right anymore. I assume there will be water damage if we just leave it that way. I hate the siding anyway, but we don't have tons of money to replace it with hardiplank.

Should we replace just the melted lengths of siding with something similar?

It is in our backyard, so we could possibly redo the whole wall in something different. Is there any easy, cheap, maybe even environmentally friendly solution?

It is could for about 5 seconds then gets hot for about 10 and then gets cold again. What is causing this to happen. It is a dual knob so hot and cold have their own knobs. The hot works fine but I am afraid of my kids getting burnt.

The other day I went to start my mower and after a few tries (the mower would just barely crank) I saw smoke rising from the battery tray. Upon inspection I found the negative (ground) post partly melted and the ground wire cooked. I decided I had a poor ground connection and so renewed the ground wire, making the connection shiny and new at the frame and battery (positive and negative). upon reassemble I saved the connection to the negative post for last and gingerly touched the ground to the terminal and saw a strong arc (strong enough that it tried to stick to the post), so I began to disconnect things one by one to see what might be drawing current (ignition switch, buss bar, starter, clutch, lights, wire harness) still every time I tested I would get an arc at the negative post.

Finally I decided to disconnect the positive lead on the battery and connect the negative ground first. when I then touched the positive lead there was no arc, nada, nothing, zilch. So I made the connection and now everyting works fine and dandy.

Now I'm going nuts trying to understand why. (the battery takes and holds a charge)
