What causes the granulars to fall on the drive way after it rains, when I just had a new roof put on a month & a half ago? Its a 30 years roof.

As is stated above it is normal as shingles will rub on each other and loosen the granules when handled. If they do not stop then contact the company that put your roof on and they will contact the manufacturors. Take pictures now and then some more pictures in a few months after it rains a few more times. If you start to notice black or darkening spots on your roof you should call them immediatly.

Nothing to worry about. Some of the granules did not stick to the tar when they shingles were made. They are just washing off. It will stop after awhile.

All that traffic and tossing of shingles will cause a bunch to come off the first year. Relax!
