a product called Goo gone would work or try isopropyl alkahol, or even vegetable oil.scrape with a credit card or something like that.

If you are from the Us.. you may need to know that petrol is gasoline... that could work .. give it a little soak wiht a cloth.. and then scrape away as it loosens..

maybe peanut butter? The oils get gum out of hair. Try carb cleaner also.

keep it moist for about 24 hours with any lubricant and it should scrape off easiely

go to your local Hardware store go to paint department and ask for 'goof-off' - works great on glue, latex paint, etc
