I am having a concrete pool installed in my backyard. The pool builder asks me to pay for the construction in phases, like initial excavation, frameout, pouring of the shell, installation of electrical, etc. They dug last week and started some of the plumbing work (laid out PVC and placed skimmers and drains), and they want the first payment. What should I look for in terms of the excavation and plumbing of the pool to ensure that they did it right?

Thanks!

It seems I have moles or some such critter in my yard and flower beds. I have holes and raised areas throughout my yard which have gotten steadily worse the last few years. I would like to find out what they are and how to get rid of them without poison. Do the stakes that emit sonic waves work? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

I live in Massachussets, and is it's chilly up here already -not really cold- and Idon't know if it's too late.

Please let me know what I should buy and how to use the spreader, since I have no experience. Last year, my husband used a whole bag in our front yard alone, and burned the lawn. I will do it this year, but do not want to make the same mistake.

A friend who runs a golf course finds them in the mole trail and stabs them in their little mole head. Clearly, I would like a more peaceful solution.

Hi, about a year and a half ago I recieved a Calandiva plant as a gift. At that point, it had blooms which eventually died. Once they were gone, the leaves died off and new growth began. The new growth has been noticably vine like. However, even though the new "vines" looked hearty however very sparse, I then noticed that the soil had a whitish appearance, and that some of the older leaves had some white spots on them. I went to clear out some old foliage that was laying in the pot, and the just by a slight touch the new growth just fell off. Two big long growths that were bright and green detached and fell off. I don't know if they were growing too heavy for itself or what. I'm desperately looking for some help with this plant. If anyone has any advice for me, it would be appreciated. By the way, I usually keep it on the dry side, as per the plants indicated instructions.

Thank you in advance.

I bought a beautiful Philodendron 2 months ago and now the leaves are turning yellow and some are turning brown and dying. Am I watering it to much or not enough? What about feeding and why type of fertilizer and how much and how often. Thanks, Chigger

I own a sad, sick corn plant. It needs help!
It was left outside in cold weather for a couple of days by accident-oops! It's inside now, but the poor corn plant got polka-dots on some of it's leaves, and the other ones have brown at the very tip. It needs help! I water it once a week. Should something be done differently?
Thanks in advance!
