I own a sad, sick corn plant. It needs help!
It was left outside in cold weather for a couple of days by accident-oops! It's inside now, but the poor corn plant got polka-dots on some of it's leaves, and the other ones have brown at the very tip. It needs help! I water it once a week. Should something be done differently?
Thanks in advance!

It should be fine. Had one badly frost bitten last year, lost the terminal bud (top) but several auxilliary buds sprouted and the plant is more beautiful than before.

Give it a mild solution of MiracleGro (1/4 tsp per gallon of water - OK to use every watering) remove the damaged leaves for aesthetic reasons. Your corn kid will be fine.

not much you can do about the cold exposure, but you can make it a little more presentable by trimming the brown tips off of the leaves with a pair of sharp scissors in a pointy shape that matches it's current shape.
About watering, rather than watering every week, you should actually check the soil first. you can get a water meter at local home depot or plant place, or use a wooden chopstick, poke deep into the soil then feel the end, only water when almost dried out. Most plants use more water in summer than winter. Let it rest over the winter then feed it in the spring and if it survives the winter, you should see new growth over the spring and summer

Corn doesn't really do well as a potted plant - it needs full sun and other rows of corn in order to pollinate. Bring it in though, if it's cold and you quite can't bring yourself to toss it. Make sure that the pot it's in is big enough for it, at least a gallon or more.

Just keep it inside and care for it, it will come back.
