I live south of Birmingham, Al. I want to know what to do to keep my banana trees over winter. Cut or cover? I cut them last year and more came up this year, will this continue to happen? I do not know what kind I have but they will be three years old now. I started with two and have seven now. Any advice at all?

I am pretty sure I remember hearing that you are supposed to dig up your Dalia bulbs before winter. If that is true, when is the best time to do it and where is the best place to store them?

I live on a rural block of land with decent gardens & would like to place a row of trees down the side fence to get some privacy from the neighbours. Any suggestions on what trees are the best cover?

i don't have a picture of it. anyway, i am pretty sure it is a weed, with berries or some sort of round thing on it that is green, and then turns yellow when it "ripens". it is in arizona too.

i am trying to know because they are in my horses pasture, and i want to see if they are posinous to him or not.

what kind of plant is it? if you think you know, put a picture up of it with the name please. thanks!!

I have taken the advice of someone on questions and put a plastic sheet over a weed infested plot of land that I want to turn into a veg growing area. All the weeds have began to die now after a month....how long should I leave it there before I take it up and turn over the ground ? I'm in Scotland.

I found a powdery like disease on my garden and I was wondering if someone is familiar with this. I live in South Florida where the weather is mostly warm and humid. And this is a photo of the actual disease on the plant.

I am trying to figure out if a 5 acre pond is feasible on a 20+ acre site. Assuming the land is suitable to hold water, and not too tree-filled. I wouldnt want anything to do with damming a creek or river, just a pond in the middle of the parcel (for fishing/swimming) The spoils could be kept on site, but the digging would all be contracted out. just wondered if anyone has any experience with this. Was the cost beyond what you expected? has the pond "mucked" up. how important is the groundwater table vs runoff. Looking for property in northern michigan, but dont have it yet. Just wondered what kind of property characteristics are best for the pond. Any help would be much appreciated
