Can someone tell me why the Hedera Ivy plant I bought for my house is losing all its leaves?

Too much water?
Spider mites?

Hedera is infamous for losing leaves due to lack of humidity
they like greenhouse/terrarium type conditions
you can:
set a tray full of water near your plant for added humidity
spray with spray bottle a few times per day
make a terrarium for it
keep it by kitchen sink or in the bathroom

It is either getting too much water or not enough sun.
