Did you ever notice that whenever trees are cut down (for different reasons) people don't replant them with new ones?

I have noticed that in most cases, whenever a tree dies or something and is cut down ... rarely will you see that a new one will be planted.

I wonder what will happen as a result of this pattern ... hmm trees are slowly dying off, but no new ones are planted...

I bought them in Italy for my wedding last June from a non-English speaking flower vendor, and would love to know what it was I had in my bouquet!

I have planters in an atrium. It's a pretty large room, I see little tiny spider webs on them, it seems like once they start they quickly get worse and then damage the plant. I think they are called spider mites. I don't know for sure. It makes thee plant look dusty or powdery.

A large root from a tall pine tree is protruding through my driveway. I'd like to chop the root out but my wife thinks it will kill the tree. My opinion is that the tree must have several more roots just as large and it won't miss one. Who's right?

I have a tree (not sure what) it has lost all its leaves and I thought it would be easier to trim in this state as I can see what I am doing. Just want to clip back branches so doesn't block so much light out.

Will it do the tree any harm at this time of year.

I was given four poinsettas, one red, one pink and two white. They give off a horrible odor like a mix between urine and skunk type body odor. Almost like rotten behind. It has permeated my entire home and I had to sit them outside just to get the smell out of my house and now the front porch smells like the south end of a north bound dog.
