I was digging up some of my plants to bring in for the winter....

Was going to keep them under a light.....

but, when I opened the bag, I noticed that it wreaked of gasoline...

((we had a generator on the porch and a kid we knew tried to drain it while we were gone.... Needless to say it spilled out..... and the garden soil soaked it up)).......

The soil looks useable..... But, I'm almost afraid to use it....

What do you think?....

Should I use it?......

The tree is about 15 feet tall and I have noticed an abundance of fruit on it every year. The lemon is small (about 1.5" in diameter) and is not smooth and waxy, but kind of fuzzy. I had no idea lemon trees could grow in the ground like this in Oklahoma, it is a beautiful tree.

I live in South Mississippi and I am addicted to growing plants from seed. I grew lavender in the spring, I was hoping there is some kind of plant I can grow in the fall.

I put Osmocote in the plant & since I did that it has started to turn yellow. So, I took out every piece I could find in the plant, hoping this would stop the yellowing. This is what is in the Osmocote: N-19%, Ammoniacal Nitrogen-10%, Phosphate-6%, and Soluble Potash-12%. Would this be the reason for the yellowing & will the yellow ever turn back green? Is this a very strong fertilizer? I should tell you all that after the yellowing started I added Epsom salt. I also, have a grow light over the plant to give it the extra light it needs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way, Happy Halloween fellow Yahooers.

The name of the shrub apparently sounds like "duvenay," and I am looking for the correct spelling. I don't know if this is a cultivar name or part of a scientific name. The shrub has red berries. Possibly has something to do with Elaeagnus umbellata but my information is incomplete. Thank you.

The "berries" in that clump are dark and sort of dried looking, and shriveled. When they drop on the ground, they remain the same color but get even more shriveled.

What is it?
Thanks
