The pumpkin is the ripened ovary of the flower and the "hole" in the bottom is where the stamens (male parts of the flower) were attached. I've been in bio for years and have never seen a name for it after maturity.

The blossom end. That's where the flower blossom starts, and the rest of the pumpkin grows behind it.

Same for squash, tomatos,eggplants, etc.

It is kind of a scab where the blossom fell off of. All fruit, apples plums, peaches, oranges, squash, blueberries, etc. have that.
It is the blossom end. There is also a fungal disease especially names for a rot at that end (Blossom End Rot)

ah sweetie. ya sudda been turning them prevalent..additionally shrink a stem long enuff for a tumbler of milk..and stick the stem in it.. my granny did that to hers and guy! did we ever get heap pumpkins N squash ..
