Go to a nursery and buy a tree and plant it with a root starter fert. That's the best way. If you mean by seed, you might get a seed to germinate (most seeds in apples we eat are sterile) but if it isn't sterile it will probably produce some kind of crab apple. And you won't know that until you've cared for it for several years. Buy one and save yourself the headache.

If you are serious...you can plant an apple seed. But the apples on the tree you grow will not be edible. This question has been answered here many times...do a search on "apples from seed" and see what comes up.

Apple trees need a lot, a lot of cold weather......when I lived in New Mexico and in zone 5 or 6 they had orchards down in the valley going toward Roswell.....

To grow an apple tree you must first plant a seed and water it. Nurture it and it shall grow into something you've always wanted. It shall become part of your family and may become something you've always wanted. Life passes us by in many ways, but an apple tree will help you focus on something you have always wanted.

You can do anything with your life
