They would be poisonous for only two reasons:
1.Are you allergic to orange thorns?
2. Are they covered in pesticide or fungicide residue.



Yes!!! for the non believers most citrus has some nasty long thorns!! The thorns and the trees are not normally poisonous! But there are specifics,just as I have mentioned above!!!

HighlandK is right. Use polysporin on punctures that draw blood, after cleansing the area with warm soap and water. Hopefully, the thorn is not lodged in your foot. An alternate is peroxide; alcohol will sting... Now why are you out and about barefoot walking on orange tree branches? If they're that close to the ground, they should be pruned. I live in Canada, so there are no outdoor orange trees, but I had an old potted one, and the thorns on it were lethal; they could've impaled a bird!

Not poisonous but very painful. You have to be careful about any puncture wound because infection is very likely.
