I have two plants of the same kind (no clue what it's the name) and I notice a few weeks ago that some leafs were cover in a black stuff, at first I though it was dirt, but I tried washing the leafs and you can completly take that out, but the leafs are kind of weak and fall easily when you touch them...what is this? is there some remedy for it? They got plenty of sun light.

we thought we were growing mint at first. but then the plant started growing a strange fuzzy white flowery top.
i've never seen this before, so i'm just not sure.
could this actually be a weed that killed our mint?

The leaves are at least 3 feet long, but I don't see anything even resembling a flower spike yet. Are these bulbs biennials? Could there be a problem with the soil, or amount of sun they get? The bulbs were planted in late spring, in rich soil, and get full sun. The leaves appear healthy.

Wasn't sure if all you had to do was wait for the seeds to dry out... Do you bake them at all? Are they naturally salty?
