How fresh is it?

It really should be composted for at least 3 months before you use it as fertilizer. Otherwise, you can nitrogene/ammonia burn your plants, or give them any microbial diseases your bull had!

That would be bad. If you are growing vegies, what you put IN your soil will eventually end up on your plate.

Also, YOU are the one that has to walk through it to weed!
