I am looking to purchase a wood stove from someone but am unsure if it will even work. The problem is the flue comes out the back of the stove and is about 6" higher than where it will attach and vent out my wall. Can I use a bend to go DOWN then vent out or will that create a backdraft and not vent the smoke correctly? Thanks in advance!

I need a Barometric draft regulator. Where do I put it. I have a in pipe heat blower also. Do I put it first thing out of the stove, or do I put it above the manual dampner, and heatolator.

This happened last night. I washed my hands with soap and water right away, and took a long shower when I got home.

However, my hands still stink like mold. How do I get the smell off my hands.

If I still smell the mold (or mildew) does that mean it is still on me?

What is the difference between mold and mildew.

Am I going to die?

Today I finished a walnut shelf with Watco Danish Oil, following the instructions -- wiping the oil off after 45 minutes. Since then, small amounts of oil have been coming out on the surface. I know it's normal, but I'm wondering how many days it'll continue.

Ok, well, the all american car, Chevy, made in korea or some place!, Black and Decker tools, Company originates in the states but manufatured abroad. Whats the honest problem with it though, when it comes to fisher price toys for kids having too much lead in them i can understand why we have to complain, but if a chinese, vietnamese , korean or whoever has the same skills or better skills to make our cars, clothes shoes, craft stuff tools etc, for cheaper, why not let them? The companies profit from it more obviously, and that effects the american economy in a positive way. And on a personal level, the products still have reasonable warranties. And it also increases relationships with the eastern world in a positive way. If anything should happen and they stop trading with the states, there are people that are skilled to build things just as well, it may cost the company a little more but it wont effect the countries wealth too dramatically, thats my opinion whats yours?

I need to mount a toy for my horse in his stall, but I don't want to drill holes in his shelter because it's not my shelter and he moves around from paddock to paddock. Will epoxy putty be strong enough to hold it up? Can I remove epoxy putty from wood if I need to?

OK I have 3 long sleeve T-shirts and I plan on doing a t-shirt transfer on them, I just need to know what to put on.
2 are for my brothers, John and Dave and one is for my sisters husband, Andrew.

John is a soldier in the National Guard and he is going to be deployed soon. He loves country music, Adam Sandler movies and climbing mountains.

David has 3 sons, is married to a wonderful woman and owns his own successful business building houses. He likes Raidohead, no clue what movie he likes, and photography.

Andrew, one son and of course is married to my wonderful sister. He is a former Marine and he works in construction, he is currently going to collage.
No clue No clue No clue

So any clever things you can think of would be great.
I was thinking of some joke between the marines and army or maybe something that is just sweet like " 2007: serving our country with pride" and then the next one would be "fathering 3 boys and being a wonderful husband"
I don''t know
Any Ideas?

I have 6 halogen puck lights that I'm not fond of in my kitchen. I would like to switch them all out for undercabinet fluorescent lighting. There is a transformer for the puck lights. Can I just cut the wires, connect to new ones, and switch out the units? Or do I have to rewire all the lighting? The wires seem to be covered with a mesh, not plastic.
