For example, it is house, that has been covered with faxe boards but I am pretty sure asbestos is behind it, there is no insulation. I have read up on the Victorian Australian Guidelines for dealing with it, is it worth removing it or just putting insulation inbetween the vinal boards and the cement sheet?

Years ago my neighbour had outdoor Christmas lights with an adaptor that plugged into the bayonet fitting on his porch light.

Basically, instead of training cable from outdoors to indoors, he removed the bulb on his porch light and plugged in the lights.

The lights were string variety...

Does anyone know of this adaptor or plug that I can attach to outdoor lights?

Oh and before anyone says.."Ask the neighbour...he moved!

I'm doing a project in which I will need a pvc pipe of 2" in diameter. However, I need to modify that pipe to make it wider because that specific pipe in that diameter is not sold. So I need to find a way to shave off plastic from the pipe that I have now. Any suggestions?

I read in a recent Popular Science magazine that you can unseal an envelope in the freezer, but I don't recall how long it would take for it to pop back open. Anyone know the time it would take?

For my English project, which is tomorrow!

I can't just throw some sheets together, it's like a costume costume.

I procrastinated and yeah now I don't know what to do.

I'm afraid if I cut too much fabric it won't be long and flowy.

But I have to cut it eventually, I'm just worried.

I didn't buy a pattern like an idiot and now it's too late.

I have a sewing machine and everything. I know how to hem it.

It doesn't have to be perfect but I just don't know where to begin.

What do I do?

Hi, my les paul's neck is starting to bend because of the tension of the heavy gauge strings I put on it a long time ago (without setting it up first). What is this called: a bent neck? a warped neck? or a twisted neck? BTW, can this be fixed? is this a serious matter?

I'm looking for information on buying solid brass snaps for a leather belt. Also a kit for attaching them. I've seen some on line but I haven't found exactly what I need. Which is bigger a line 24 or line 20 snap and what diameter are they? Any links to sites that sell these would be a big help.

I need a husband to help me assemble this desk I bought from China. Of course, he has to be cute and smart also. But in the meantime these instructions are making no sense! So, desk parts are laying around all over the floor.

I have twisted forks, strangely wound pieces of wire, and I've taped a lot of things (or used rubber bands on them or electrical tape) and have lots of super glue, and lightbulbs on covered wires, drain cleaners (wires) I've fashioned, and stuff from restringing lamps, skate keys, magnets from shower curtains, bunch of old keys, cotton meat wrapping thread, melted candles, bent tacks, pieces of dowels and pvc pipe, etc.
