Has anyone used the aluminum monopole flagpoles for wind turbines? I am looking at one for 45' and is rated for 107 mph winds. However, I don't know how this would work with a wind turbine.

aluminum mono flag poles are only schedule 25 pipe (thickness) to be rated for most wind turbines you'll need a schedule 80 with a oval shape for stability.

depending on the size and weight of the turbine a tri type of tower or spun aluminum pole is recommended.

The 'projected area` of a wind turbine is a
hellofa lot bigger than a flag. Any wind rating
based on a flag is meaningless when applied to
a turbine.
