A couple of things might be BETTER, but with no less effort.
#1 I'd probably check the plumbing, below the Tub area to access the "Clean Out Plug"
#2 I'd probably check the "VENT" plumbing for clogs.
There is no IMMEDIATE "P" trap under usual Tub plumbing, and Drano, etc. merely adds to the Toxins already infecting our water sources.
Just my two cents.

If you have a lift and turn drain plug
try removing the drain plug to check if its hair that's blocking the drain
a coathanger may work or you mau be able to get a cable auger through the drain

try using a 'snake' to clean the pipe (if you don't have one, you can get one for less then 10 dollars). Drano can be bad for your pipes and the environment and it doesn't always work.

i just used draino in my tub., it was VERY slow draining (like 5 inches of standing water) and draino actually worked!
use 1/2 the bottle like the directions say or it will not work.
