You wont find an actual wood drill in that size. A forstner bit, hole saw set or spade bit come in those sizes. Home Depot, Loews or any good hardware store carry them. The bigger stores will have better prices, though.

Sounds like you're putting in a lockset. Any of the big-box hardware stores carries a kit including the needed bits for doing this for not too much money. Otherwise, you may have to buy a set of these large bits--they have a regular bit in the middle of what looks like a cup with a saw blade rim--they work great!

Some valid suggestions so far. Without knowing at all, your application, you might get away with a Paddle Bit, as well.

For diameters this size you will need a Forstner Bit, available from any DIY store.

probley would have to use a hole saw for that size, or get an
adjustable one
