The most durable process that will give you a gloss is a two part system. You have to put several coats of penetrating sealer and the finish coat is called shine hardener. The more coats of the shine hardener, the glossier the finsish you get. Different manufacturers have slightly different terminology for it, but it's all pretty close. Check local stone and granite suppliers for a source.

A ajnitorial supply can help you. I prefer a solvent based sealer but there are good urethanes available. You will want one that is for non-resilient floors, the type sold for terrazo, marble and non-glazed ceramic.
