I used this double sided red tape before to mount a mirror on a wall and I want to find a shop/website that stocks it, so I can put another mirror up. This red tape is double sided and VERY STRONG.

Im trying to fit some new celing lights in my lounge but it appears the wiring isn't just a case of adding the brown, green/yellow and blue wires to there corresponding place - I have (I think) what is called a Loop Wiring system in place so I have 2 black wires, 3 grey wires and some others wrapped in red tape. Should I just call an electrician or is this simpler than it looks?

I'm looking to hang a lighted ceiling fan in my room, however, the room is in an apartment not wired for ceiling fan mounting. I was thinking/wondering if there was a lighted fan that has a power cord attached so I can hang it from a hook and run the cord to a switched outlet in my room.

Please please PLEASE someone HELP me!!!

If not, what else would you use to support the mattress. I bought a metal frame but I don't think I can just put the mattress on it and if I can I'm not sure how. The frame appears as below:

Stupid Thing, Didn't realize there was any cat litter there and I got it wet cleaning it. Damed If It didn't turn the Beige Carpet Dark brown. And Sticky, Like Mud. Used resolve On it thinking that would help, But That only Made it worse, because The rug was Wet, and The resolve Is Liquid, Which Didn't Help Matters Much. I obviously need to let it dry, Just want tips On what else to do. Thanks In Advance.

Ok guys. Let me know. I'm an intermediate DIYer. I have replaced sink pipes, shut off valves, toilets and closet flanges, sink vanities and things of that sort. I want to tackle my kitchen and put in my own new cabinets, nothing fancy, no lazy susans or built in spice racks, just cabinets with a new sink and countertop. Think I could tackle it?

My bedroom is floor to ceiling "popcorn" texture. The people who sold me the home have a high gloss paint over it. I cannot afford to tear down the walls and re-drywall. I don't want the mess of scraping off the bumps. What is another way to retexture the walls? If I use a joint compound to create a different texture, would it work? I really hate it, but financially I'm quite limited. I could not hire anyone to do work for me, so all of my home improvements are done myself or by my mother....(who can do almost anything). But she isn't so sure what we can do about this.

My mom, for years and years has been wanting a garbage disposal in the kitchen. So I was thinking for her birthday I would get her one, but I have no clue where to get one, or how hard it would be for it be installed. Like does the disposal have to be put in when the sink is put in or can u still put one in later
