I put it in a frame but it still has some crinkles in it. does anyone know how I could get them out? . I heard ironing would work on the back side is that true?

Make completely sure it really is just a print before even touching it. Even a print on canvas can be worth large amounts of money.

It is very unlikely that it is, since you found it, but it can happen.

Personally, I would go to someone who is very experienced in fine art to see it's value before I even unrolled it. I would also get multiple opinins since most people will tell you they know what they are doing, even if they don't have a clue.

I would say keep excessive moisture away from it. I would say no to the iron. The only time I have heard of water being used was when a painting was stretched and it was sprayed on lightly with a spray bottle. In the frame, make sure there's a mat. The glass shouldn't come into direct contact with it. Does the image cover the complete canvas? Can you tell if it has been stretched before? Stretching it would get rid of the wrinkles, but it should be done by someone who knows what they're doing.

it could use a damp cloth and be gentle
