First thing I would ask, is where is this combination lock?

Second question... did you set the combination yourself, or was it preset?

For example... if this is a 'school lock', like schools supply to the students for their lockers... there is, most likely, a list of all the locks, and their combinations, on file in the office someplace. If your lock has a number stamped on it, then it is part of a series, and this is a very likely situation. It only takes a moment to glance and memorize the combination.

Another method is to actually watch you open the lock.... this could be done easily, without your even being aware of it.

Third method, is to 'feel the tumblers'.... this takes a bit of practice, but it does work. It's particularly easy with cheaper locks.

Oh... by the way... if this is a school supplied lock... then its recycled..... and most schools do not change the combinations on their locks... sooooo... if a student had that same lock a year or two before... .they could very well still remember the combination.

If this is an electronic keypad lock... then there are little gadgets you can buy that will try the various combinations, until it hits the correct one.

If you think someone else has the combination to your lock... change it. Either get a new lock, or change that lock's combination.

If the lock is a nationwide form as against a some knock off. It willl have a code on it which would be mailed to the manufacture. They in flip will mail you the mixture. it could take in to six weeks. in case you could no longer wait that long. call a lock smith or bolt cutters will do the trick each and every time. don't get caught. bear in mind secure practices first.

Need to know more details, like how many numbers are there! if 6, then it will take 6 X 6 X 6 X 6 X 6 X 6 goes, to open it, you will have to work systematically. If only 4 numbers it's much easier 6 X 6 X 6 X 6. or if you know any numbers, you can do it even more quickly.
